CEI:AgER Staff Win Teaching Awards

CEI:AgER is proud to congratulate Dr Wesley Moss and Ms Hannah Demerise on their receipt of UWA School of Engineering Teaching Awards.  

Dr Wesley Moss received the Award for Teaching Excellence (Early Career). Ms Hannah Demerise received a Commendation for Excellence in Facilitation. 

After completing his PhD with CEI:AgER in 2021, Dr Moss had his major teaching opportunity in 2022, structuring, coordinating and lecturing for a new unit GENG1101 Engineering Drawings. Prior to this, he had tutored and facilitated several units within the school of engineering, including GENG1010 Introduction to Engineering, MECH4426 Dynamics, Vibration and Sound, and MECH5551 Mechanical Engineering Design.  

Ms Demerise tutored and facilitated several unit including GENG1000 Engineering Practice 1, MECH5551 Mechanical Engineering Design and GENG5505 Project Management and Engineering Practice.  

Both Dr Moss and Ms Demerise are passionate about science communication and are looking forward to continuing with teaching opportunities at UWA.
