Delegates from Federal University of Viçosa, Brazil, visit CEI:AgER
On 15th May, a delegation from the Federal University of Viçosa (Brazil), including professors of Animal Science, Agricultural Engineering, Plant Pathology and Soil Science, travelled across the globe to Perth, WA. During their visit the delegation met with members of Murdoch University, and The University of Western Australia.
Whilst at UWA, the professors visited CEI:AgER to learn about the University’s agricultural engineering research capabilities. Later that day the delegation visited UWA’s Crawley campus, hosted by the Institute of Agriculture, to discuss partnership opportunities across the University’s schools, centres, and institutes.
At CEI:AgER the delegation were able to learn about current and past agricultural engineering research projects, including development of the Weed Chipper and new technologies for sustainable and profitable subterranean clover seed harvesting.
